The sons of Rachel: Joseph and Benjamin. And the sons of Zilpah, Rachel&rsquo;s handmaid: Dan and Naphtali. And the sons of Zilpah, Leah&rsquo;s handmaid: Gad and Asher. These were the sons of Jacob which were born to him in Paddan-aram.&rsquo; <\/p>\n<p><strong> &ldquo;Born to him in Paddan-aram.&rdquo;<\/strong> That is all but Benjamin. But the idea is rather that they were all born prior to his full return to the tribe after being sent to Paddan-aram.
