It has come in from <span class='bible'><em> Gen 36:18<\/em><\/span>. The other names in <span class='bible'><em> Gen 36:15-16<\/em><\/span> are drawn from <span class='bible'><em> Gen 36:11-12<\/em><\/span>, while Korah, which occurs in <span class='bible'><em> Gen 36:14<\/em><\/span>, is mentioned again in <span class='bible'><em> Gen 36:18<\/em><\/span>.<\/p>\n<h4 align='right'><i><b>Fuente: The Cambridge Bible for Schools and Colleges<\/b><\/i><\/h4>\n<p><P> Verse <span class='bible'>16<\/span>. <I><B>Duke Korah<\/B><\/I>] This Dr. Kennicott pronounces to be an interpolation.  &#8220;It is certain, from <span class='bible'>Ge 36:4<\/span>, that Eliphaz was Esau&#8217;s son by Adah; and from <span class='bible'>Ge 36:11-12<\/span>, that <I>Eliphaz<\/I> had but <I>six<\/I> sons, <I>Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, Kenaz<\/I>, and <I>Amalek<\/I>. It is also certain, from <span class='bible'>Ge 36:5<\/span>; <span class='bible'>Ge 36:14<\/span>, that <I>Korah<\/I> was the son of <I>Esau<\/I> (not of Eliphaz) by <I>Aholibamah<\/I>; and as such he is properly mentioned in <span class='bible'>Ge 36:18<\/span>: These are the sons of Aholibamah, Esau&#8217;s wife: duke Jeush, duke Jaalam, DUKE KORAH. It is clear, therefore, that some transcriber has improperly inserted <I>duke Korah<\/I> in <span class='bible'>Ge 36:16<\/span>; from which interpolation both the <I>Samaritan text<\/I> and the <I>Samaritan version<\/I> are free.&#8221; &#8211; KENNICOTT&#8217;S <I>Remarks<\/I>.
