After the omission just noticed had become perpetuated in the text, some editor must have altered the words into the plural, supposing that they referred to David and Eleazar (<span class='bible'>1Ch. 11:13<\/span>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saved them.<\/strong>Samuel, made a great deliverance: transpose one letter, and the Hebrew words are identical.
