In the Hebrew only one letter is different; and the word do may have the meaning offer, as in Greek (Comp. <span class='bible'>Exo. 29:38<\/span>.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>I give thee.<\/strong>Not in Samuel; an exegetical addition.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For burnt offerings.<\/strong><em>For the burnt offerings.<\/em> Samuel has the singular.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The threshing<\/strong> <strong>instruments,<\/strong> or drags. <span class='bible'>1Ch. 20:3<\/span> a different word. See <span class='bible'>Isa. 41:15<\/span> and <span class='bible'>2Sa. 24:22<\/span>, the only other places where this word (<em>mraq<\/em>) occurs.
