The same with Libni, see <span class='bible'>1Ch 23:7<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>the sons of the Gershonite Laadan<\/strong>; so called, to distinguish him from another Laadan, as Kimchi thinks:<\/p>\n<p><strong>chief fathers, even of Laadan the Gershonite<\/strong>; that sprung from him: were Jehieli; and his sons next mentioned.<\/p>\n<h4 align='right'><i><b>Fuente: John Gill&#8217;s Exposition of the Entire Bible<\/b><\/i><\/h4>\n<p>(21, 22) These two verses contain one statement, viz :<em>The sons of Laadan, i.e., The sons of the Gershonite belonging to Laadan, the heads of the houses of Laadan the Gershonite, Jehieli,<\/em> that is, <em>the sons of Kehieli, Zetham, and Joel his brother, <\/em>were <em>over the treasures of the house of Jehovah.<\/em> In other words, Zetham and Joel the chiefs of the clan Jehiel, which was the leading house of the Laadanite branch of Gershon, had charge of the Temple stores. (Comp. <span class='bible'>1Ch. 23:7-8<\/span>.)
