8<\/strong>. ten tables<\/em> ] In 2Ch 4:19<\/span> “the tables ( plural<\/em>) whereon the shewbread was set” are mentioned (cp. 1Ch 28:16<\/span>), but the parallel place (1Ki 7:48<\/span>) has “the table” ( sing<\/em>.), and elsewhere both in Chronicles and in the rest of the O.T. one table only is assigned to the shewbread (2Ch 13:11<\/span>; 2Ch 29:18<\/span>).
