The Korhites were the leading division of Kohath (<span class='bible'>1Ch. 6:22<\/span>). <em>And<\/em> is explanatory; <em>even, namely some of the sons of Korah.<\/em> The sons of Korah were a guild of Levitical minstrels of the first rank.
