The reference to the defacement of the Temple buildings by idolatrous kings may be compared with the similar notice concerning Athaliahs sons, <span class='bible'>2Ch. 24:7<\/span>, and Ahaz, <span class='bible'>2Ch. 28:24<\/span>.
