The LXX., however, gives instead of this verse 2Ki. 24:5-6<\/span>, interpolating in the latter and was buried with his fathers in the garden of Uzza ( or ; see 2Ki. 21:26<\/span>). Thenius says these words certainly<\/em> (!) stood in the original text, but were omitted by the chronicler and the editor of Kings, because they conflict with the prophecy of<\/em> Jeremiah (Jer. 22:18-19<\/span>, Jer. 36:30<\/span>)which is apparently the reason why he is so sure of their genuineness.<\/p>\n JEHOIACHIN (2Ch. 36:9-10<\/span>).
