The R.V. renders as if the word was in the singular; cf. <span class='bible'>2Ch 20:27<\/span>, &lsquo;Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in the forefront of them&rsquo;, (lit. at their head).
