It seems to have been connected with <strong> the wall of Ophel<\/strong>, which latter was identical with, or a continuation of, that on which Jotham and Manasseh had built. This is thus the second portion for which they were responsible. It was adjacent to the Projecting Tower. They repaired &lsquo;unto the wall of Ophel&rsquo; (compare <span class='bible'>2Ch 27:3<\/span> where Jotham &lsquo;built much on the wall of Ophel).
