It is better to be alone than to be joined to one who, instead of being a meet-help, is a great hindrance to the comfort of life. 2. How those may sometimes be envied that live in solitude; as they want the comfort of society, so they are free from the vexation of it. Pro 21:19 agrees with the conclusion when it says, It is better to dwell in a desert land, Than with a contentious and fretful woman. Pro 19:13 says, The contentions of a wife are a continual dropping. If there is anything that will get a man or that is obnoxious to a man, it is the nagging and continual harpings of a woman. Moral: Women, dont do it! Girls, dont develop it! Boys, dont marry it!
