The things which he hath not done are those in <span class='bible'><em> Eze 18:6-9<\/em><\/span> regarded as positive commandments. The words naturally refer to the wicked son. They are incompatible with those in the end of <span class='bible'><em> Eze 18:10<\/em><\/span>, if these be said of the son. Syr., feeling the incompatibility, omits. This man has done the things the just man would not do (<span class='bible'>Eze 18:6-8<\/span>), and has not done the things the just man would do (<span class='bible'>Eze 18:8-9<\/span>). After this general statement the enumeration of his crimes of commission begins.
