The sin-offering was burnt wholly in a place outside the whole temple area, i.e. outside the space enclosed by the 500 cubits square wall (Eze 42:16<\/span> seq<\/em>.), possibly in the space of 50 cubits (Eze 45:2<\/span>) lying round the outer wall.
