The same expression is used in the 41st verse of the foregoing chapter; and it seems to be taken from <em>putting <\/em>certain parts of the sacrifices <em>into the hands <\/em>of the priests at their consecration: thus giving and confirming to them the right of offering to God gifts and sacrifices.
