Third-class condition, first aorist active subjunctive from <span class='_800000'><SPAN LANG=\"el-GR\"><\/SPAN><\/span> (old form <span class='_800000'><SPAN LANG=\"el-GR\"><\/SPAN><\/span>) to lend for interest in a business transaction (here in active to lend and <span class='bible'>Mt 5:42<\/span> middle to borrow and nowhere else in N.T.), whereas <span class='_800000'><SPAN LANG=\"el-GR\"><\/SPAN><\/span> (only <span class='bible'>Lu 11:5<\/span> in N.T.) means to loan as a friendly act.<\/P> <P><B>To receive again as much <\/B> (<span class='_800000'><SPAN LANG=\"el-GR\">   <\/SPAN><\/span>). Second aorist active subjunctive of <span class='_800000'><SPAN LANG=\"el-GR\"><\/SPAN><\/span>, old verb, to get back in full like <span class='_800000'><SPAN LANG=\"el-GR\"><\/SPAN><\/span> in <span class='bible'>6:24<\/span>. Literally here, &#8220;that they may get back the equal&#8221; (principal and interest, apparently). So, often in New Testament, as when classed with publicans. <\/P> <P>Love. Not filousi, which implies an instinctive, affectionate attachment, but ajgapwsin, of a sentiment based on judgment and calculation, which selects its object for a reason.
