This Divine emanation did not proceed always from Christ, as necessarily as <I>odours<\/I> do from <I>plants<\/I>, for then all who touched him must have been equally partakers of it. Of the many that touched him, this woman and <I>none else<\/I> received this Divine virtue; and why? Because she came in <I>faith<\/I>. Faith alone attracts and receives the energetic influence of God at all times. This and this only Jesusacknowledges and seeks out. It is followed by the second perfect active participle <span class='_800000'><SPAN LANG=\"el-GR\"><\/SPAN><\/span> in indirect discourse (Robertson, <I>Grammar<\/I>, pp. 1040-42). Jesus felt the sensation of power already gone. Who does not know what this sense of &#8220;goneness&#8221; or exhaustion of nervous energy means? <\/P> <\/p>\n<h4 align='right'><i><b>Fuente: Robertson&#8217;s Word Pictures in the New Testament<\/b><\/i><\/h4>\n<p><P>Hath touched [<span class='_800000'><SPAN LANG=\"el-GR\"><\/SPAN><\/span>] &#8211; I perceive [<span class='_800000'><SPAN LANG=\"el-GR\">] <\/SPAN><\/span>. Rev. renders the two aorists strictly : did touch, and I perceived, with reference to Jesus &#8216; knowledge of the touch at the moment it was applied. <\/P> <P>Virtue [<span class='_800000'><SPAN LANG=\"el-GR\">] <\/SPAN><\/span>. Rev., power. The evangelists use the word frequently of miracles &#8211; mighty works. It is used here in the sense of virtue, according to its use by naturalists and physicians. This was actually important for her.
