So, likewise, what a man is <I>doomed<\/I> to, he is called <I>the son<\/I> of, as in <span class='bible'>Eph 2:3<\/span>, wicked men are styled the <I>children of wrath<\/I>: so Judas is called <I>the son of perdition<\/I>, <span class='bible'>Joh 17:12<\/span>; and a man who <I>deserves to die<\/I> is called, <span class='bible'>2Sa 12:5<\/span>, a <I>son of death<\/I>. <I>Son of peace<\/I> in the text not only means a <I>peaceable, quiet<\/I> man, but one also of <I>good report<\/I> for his <I>uprightness<\/I> and <I>benevolence<\/I>. A Hebraism, though some examples occur in the vernacular <I>Koine<\/I> papyri. It means one inclined to peace, describing the head of the household.<\/P> <P><B>Shall rest <\/B> (<span class='_800000'><SPAN LANG=\"el-GR\"><\/SPAN><\/span>). Second future passive of <span class='_800000'><SPAN LANG=\"el-GR\"><\/SPAN><\/span>, a late double compound (<span class='_800000'><SPAN LANG=\"el-GR\">, <\/SPAN><\/span>) of the common verb <span class='_800000'><SPAN LANG=\"el-GR\"><\/SPAN><\/span>.<\/P> <P><B>It shall turn to you again <\/B> (<span class='_800000'><SPAN LANG=\"el-GR\">&#8216;  <\/SPAN><\/span>). Common verb <span class='_800000'><SPAN LANG=\"el-GR\"><\/SPAN><\/span>, to bend back, return. The idea is that even if your message, once delivered, is rejected, you are to move on with peace, knowing, like the prophet of old, that you have delivered your soul, <span class='bible'>Eze 3:17-21<\/span>; <span class='bible'>Eze 33:7-11<\/span>.
