Being willing to try again what could be done, and to gratify the king, and especially to get the wages of unrighteousness, if possible, which he dearly loved, as the apostle says, <span class='bible'>2Pe 2:15<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven bullocks and seven rams<\/strong>; which had been done in two places before, <span class='bible'>Nu 23:1<\/span> the same sort of creatures, and the same number here as there, and these only clean creatures, such as were used in sacrifice by the true worshippers of God, and which, no doubt, Balaam had knowledge of, and therefore judged that those would be most acceptable to the Lord.<\/p>\n<h4 align='right'><i><b>Fuente: John Gill&#8217;s Exposition of the Entire Bible<\/b><\/i><\/h4>\n<p> He takes the seer &ldquo;<em> to the top of Peor, which looks over the face of the desert<\/em> &rdquo; (<em> Jeshimon:<\/em> see at <span class='bible'>Num 21:20<\/span>), and therefore was nearer to the camp of the Israelites. Mount <em> Peor<\/em> was one peak of the northern part of the mountains of Abarim by the town of <em> Beth-peor,<\/em> which afterwards belonged to the Reubenites (<span class='bible'>Jos 13:20<\/span>), and opposite to which the Israelites were encamped in the steppes of Moab (<span class='bible'>Deu 3:29<\/span>; <span class='bible'>Deu 4:46<\/span>). According to <em> Eusebius<\/em> (<em> Onom. s. v<\/em>.  ), <em> Peor<\/em> was above <em> Libias<\/em> (i.e., <em> Bethharam<\/em>), <\/p>\n<p style='margin-left:1.8em'> (Note:       . <em> Jerome<\/em> has &ldquo;<em> in supercilio Libiados <\/em>.&rdquo;)<\/p>\n<p> which was situated in the valley of the Jordan; and according to the account given under <em> Araboth Moab<\/em>, <\/p>\n<p style='margin-left:1.8em'> (Note:                  (i.e., <em> Heshbon<\/em>)     .)<\/p>\n<p> it was close by the Arboth Moab, opposite to Jericho, on the way from Libias to Heshbon. Peor was about seven Roman miles from Heshbon, according to the account given <em> s. v. Danaba;<\/em> and <em> Beth-peor<\/em> (<em> s. v.
