So all the cities which ye shall give to the Levites shall be forty eight cities<\/strong>,…. Of these forty eight cities, their names, and what tribes they were in, and which of them were particularly cities of refuge, an account is given in Jos 21:10<\/span>:<\/p>\n them shall ye give, with their suburbs<\/strong>; according to the dimensions before prescribed.<\/p>\n Though the LORD made so plentiful a provision for his priests, yet it should be observed, and carefully observed too, that the LORD set bounds to it. Ministers were never intended to lord it over GOD’S heritage, or to abound in carnal things, while supposed to be principally engaged in spiritual.
