Even as the Lord commanded Moses, so did the daughters of Zelophehad.<\/strong> They married into, the family of their father’s tribe, according to the following account.<\/p>\n In Num 36:10-12<\/span> it is related that, in accordance with these instructions, the five daughters of Zelophehad, whose names are repeated from Num 26:33<\/span> and Num 27:1<\/span> (see also Jos 17:3<\/span>), married husbands from the families of the Manassites, namely, sons of their cousins (? uncles), and thus their inheritance remained in their father’s tribe ( , to be and remain upon anything).<\/p>\n Verses 10-13:<\/strong><\/p>\n The names of Zelophehad’s daughters are mentioned three times in this Book, Nu 26:33; 27:1; 36:11, and once in Jos 17:3.
