Jos 12:14<\/span>); (7) Ziklag<\/em> = “wilderness of destruction” (Gesenius), which afterwards came into the possession of Achish, king of Gath, who presented it to David (1Sa 27:6<\/span>), and was burnt by the Amalekites (1Sa 30:1<\/span>); (8) Madmannah<\/em> = possibly to el-Minyy<\/em>, south of Gaza, on the route of the pilgrims during the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries; (9) Sansannah<\/em>, unknown; (10) Lebaoth<\/em> = Beth-lebaoth (Jos 19:6<\/span>; 1Ch 4:31<\/span>), perhaps Lebhem<\/em>, eight hours south of Gaza; (11) Shilhim<\/em> = el-Scheriat<\/em>, about midway between Gaza and Beer-sheba; (12) Ain<\/em>; (13) Rimmon<\/em>; in ch. Jos 19:7<\/span>, 1Ch 4:32<\/span>, these are treated as one place, and comp. Neh 11:29<\/span>. Rimmon has been supposed to be represented by Um er-Rumamim<\/em>, about three hours north of Beersheba.<\/p>\n Baalah<\/strong>,….
