It is now transferred, with the leadership, to Moses&rsquo; successor. In later books, the phrase the servant of God is used <span class='bible'>1Ch 6:49<\/span>; <span class='bible'>Neh 10:29<\/span>; <span class='bible'>Dan 9:11<\/span>; <span class='bible'>Rev 15:3<\/span>. It is applied to Joshua only here and in <span class='bible'>Jos 24:29<\/span>.
