Cp. ch. <span class='bible'>2Sa 5:1<\/span>, and see note on <span class='bible'>1Sa 10:17<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><em> Abner<\/em> ] Observe the emphatic way in which Abner&rsquo;s name is repeated in <span class='bible'><em> 2Sa 3:17-21<\/em><\/span>, and not merely represented by pronouns.
