Benaiah was general of the eleventh division (<span class='bible'>1Ch 27:14<\/span>).<\/p>\n<p><em> Hiddai<\/em> ] In <span class='bible'>1Ch 11:32<\/span> <em> Hurai<\/em>, owing to the common confusion of <em> d<\/em> and <em> r<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em> the brooks of Gaash<\/em> ] Or <strong> Nahale-Gaash<\/strong>, a proper name meaning <em> the ravines of the earthquake<\/em>. &ldquo;The hill of Gaash&rdquo; was on the south of Joshua&rsquo;s property at Timnath-serah in Mount Ephraim (<span class='bible'>Jos 19:50<\/span>; <span class='bible'>Jos 24:30<\/span>; <span class='bible'>Jdg 2:9<\/span>), the traditional site of which is <em> Kefr Hris<\/em>, nine miles S.W. of Shechem. Who was of Pirathon, a city in the tribe of Ephraim, <span class='bible'>Jud 12:15<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hiddai of the brooks of Gaash<\/strong>; which perhaps ran by the hill Gaash, and was also in the tribe of Ephraim, <span class='bible'>Jos 24:30<\/span>.
