He belonged to Carmel in the mountainous country of Judah, now <em> Kurmul<\/em>, about seven miles S. S. E. of Hebron. Cp. <span class='bible'>1Sa 25:2<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><em> Paarai the Arbite<\/em> ] Of Arab, a city also in the neighbourhood of Hebron (<span class='bible'>Jos 15:52<\/span>), perhaps <em> er-Rabyeh<\/em>, about five miles S. of Hebron. He was of Carmel, seven miles S.S.E. of Hebron, famous in Davids early history.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paarai the Arbite.<\/strong>In Chronicles Naarai the son of Ezbai.
