1) Excepto, a no ser que. — En Dan 6:6, lahén hashkájnah alóhi se traduce:

«a no ser que lo hallemos contra él».

2) Sino:

lahén al divrát di = sino que para que (Dan 2:30).

3) Pero:

lahén min di = pero por cuanto (Esd 5:12).

— לָהֶן שׁוּעַ En Job 30:24 se sugiere leer así:

לֹה יְשַׁוֵּעַ, «¿no clamará?». La RVA lee así:

לוֹ לֹא יְשַׁוֵּעַ, «¿no clamará a él?» (Ver nota RVA).
