Ser bello o hermoso (Isa 52:7; Cnt 1:10). — Perf. נָאווּ, נַאֲוָה. Otros consideran estas formas como Nifal de אוה (Ver allí).

En Sal 141:5, en lugar de la frase שֶׁמֶן רֹאשׁ אַל יָנִי רֹאשִׁי se sugiere leer así:

שָׁמן רָשָׁע אַל יְנָא רֹאשִׁי, «el aceite de los impíos no embellezca mi cabeza». Muchos mss. tienen יניא (Hifil de נוא) en lugar de יני, pero el sentido no es bien expresado.
