Kolaiah
(Heb. Kolayah’, , voice of Jehovah), the name of two men.
1. (Sept. v. r. or ; Vulg. Colias.) The father of Ahab, which latter was one of the false and immoral prophets severely denounced by Jeremiah (Jer 29:21). B.C. ante 594.
2. (Sept. v,Vulg. Colaja.) Son of Maaseiah and father of Pedaiah, a Benjamite, and ancestor of Sallu, which last led back a party from Babylon (Neh 11:7). B.C. much ante 536.
