The name Mount of Blood applies not only to the castle, but to the&#8217; eminence of bright red-colored rock on which it stands. It was known to the Crusaders as Tour Rouge&#8221; &#8216;(Bible Places, p. 95). His authority for this is Mr. Drake (in the Quar. Statement of the &#8221; Pal. Explor.
