He experienced religion in 1834, and in 1841 entered the New England Conference. Between 1845 and 1848 he held a superannuated relation. He died at his post in Milford, Mass., Sept. 23,1851. Mr. Ainsworth possessed a deep, ardent, and cheerful piety; was an able speaker, and a man of prayer.
