Allan, a Scottish bishop, was a native of Galloway, and became bishop of the Isles in 1305, and was one of the Scotch clergy who recognised king Robert Bruce&#8217;s right to the crown in 1309. He died Feb. 15, 1321, and was buried at Rothesay, in the Isle of Bute.
