He followed the fuller&#8217;s trade at Salona, Dalmatia. Under Diocletian  he was arrested and thrown into the sea because he painted a conspicuous cross on his door. His body was brought to Salona, where a church was built in his honor. In the 7th century  his relics were transferred to Spalato. Patron of fullers and weavers.
