He became a member of the Methodist Society at the age of nine; entered the ministry in 1803; and travelled, among others, the Loughborough, Ashby, Birmingham, and Mansfield circuits. He died on the latter circuit. Dec. 2, 1818. He was a man of piety and talent. See Wesleyan Meth.
