He united with the Church at the age of fifteen; spent three years (1845-48) at Didsbury College; was appointed in 1848 to the Dist. Circuit; became a supernumerary in 1876; and died at Nantwich, March 6, 1877.  He was a dfiigent reader and an acceptable preacher.
