Beyth Pellet,  , house of escape, but found only in pause, Beyth Pallet,   [or ]; Sept.  and  or ), one of the towns in the extreme south of Judah (i.e. assigned to Simeon), named between Heshmon and Hazar-shual (Jos 15:27), and inhabited after the captivity (Neh 11:26, where it is Anglicized Beth-phelet). It corresponds possibly to the considerable ruin on Tell el-Kuseifeh (Robinson&#8217;s Researches, 2, 620), a short distance N.E. of Moladah (Van de Velde, Map).<\/p>\n<p>Beth-palet<\/p>\n<p>Lieut. Conder suggests (Quarterly Statement of the Pal. Explor.
