Educated in Ireland  under Saints Comgall  and Kenneth, he became a monk, and went to Scotland as bishop  among the Picts . He founded a monastery  at Dunblane , on the site of which the cathedral  of Dunblane  now stands. His church was at Kingarth, Bute. His works include sacred hymns, instructions to catechumens , and pious writings. Buried at Kingarth, where many miracles are attributed to him.
