He joined the Church in his youth; subsequently studied medicine, and became a successful practitioner in North Indiana; but feeling impelled to enter the ministry, in 1841 he entered the Indiana Conference, in which he labored faithfully until his decease, Dec. 19, 1845. Mr. Blue was a man of excellent spirit, fair preaching abilities, and a willing worker.
