She entered at Ferrara a community of Dominican  tertiaries whom she induced to adopt the Rule of Saint Clare. Other monasteries  were founded at Cremona and Bologna , of which latter Catherine became abbess . She wrote a &#8220;Treatise on the Seven Spiritual Weapons.&#8221; Patroness of the Academy of Art, Bologna . Canonized , 1712 . Relics in chapel of her monastery , Bologna .
