Though for many years under the pressure of great bodily infirmity, she was a diligent laborer for the Gospel, visiting, as a minister, many parts of Great Britain and Ireland. She visited America about the time of the great secession, known as the &#8220;Hicksite Separation.&#8221; She took her place in the forefront of the conflict, and zealously defended unity and peace. She died December 18, 1859.
