He went to Rome, and finally settled at Cologne, where he died a canon of the cathedral, May 14, 1587. He wrote, besides an account of the Livonian war of 1558, Institutionum Divince Pietstis Lib. 5 (Cologne, 1579):  A collection of Ascetic Conferences, under the title, Sacrarum Collectionum Libri 8 (ibid.  1584,1589,1599, 8vo): Orationes de Purgatorio, and other works.
