He experienced conversion when about fourteen; at the age of nineteen received license to preach; and at the age of twenty-two entered the New England Conference. He died in Webster, Massachusetts, in March 1873. Mr. Brewster possessed excellent natural ministerial endowments, a winning voice, address, and genial spirit. He was punctual and systematic, studious and eloquent.
