He died in 1729. We are indebted to him for the Bibliotheca Fayana (published by Martin, Paris, 1725, with a catalogue of authors):  some editions of l&#8217;Imitation de Jesus Christ:  of Catullus, Tibullus, and Propertius (ibid. 1723):  of Horace (1728).
