Early in the reign of James II he was curate of St. Giluess-in-the-Fields, London, but afterwards turned Roman Catholic, and was employed as a proof- reader in the king&#8217;s printing-house. When obliged by the Revolution to quit this employment, he turned school-master, and afterwards travelled abroad as tutor to some young gentlemen. He died January 10, 1717.
