But the most notable is Caelan of Inis &#8211; Cealtra, July 29; who (under the names Caelan, Coelan, or Chilian) is usually considered the writer of the Life of St. Brigida, which stands as the sixth memoir of that saint in Colgan&#8217;s Trias Thaumaturgac . He was a; monk of Inis-Cealtra (now Inishcaltra, County Clare), and probably flourished after the beginning of the 8th century. See Colgan, Tr.
