George Calahan, a Methodist preacher, was born in 1807. He experienced religion when but a boy, and in 1826 entered the Ohio Conference. In 1832 he became superannuated; and died Nov. 9, 1833. Mr. Calahan was a young man of considerable talent and cultures deep piety, and usefulness to the Church.
