He joined the Jesuits in 1773, and, after the suppression of that order, became rector of the college of Zodziszki, canon of Smolensk, and collaborator of the celebrated historian Naruszewicz. He died in 1792, leaving The Fables of Phaedra, in Polish and French, with the Latin text (Wilna, 1774, 4to). See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog.
