See BRIGHT, GAY, GOODLY, GORGEOUS, WHITE. <\/p>\n<p> Note: The corresponding adverb lampros signifies &#8220;sumptuously.&#8221; <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p> from tele, &#8220;afar,&#8221; and auge, &#8220;radiance,&#8221; signifies &#8220;conspicuously, or clearly,&#8221; <span class='bible'>Mar 8:25<\/span>, of the sight imparted by Christ to one who had been blind. Some mss. have delaugos, &#8220;clearly&#8221; (delos, &#8220;clear&#8221;). <\/p>\n<p> Notes: (1) In <span class='bible'>2Co 7:11<\/span>, AV, hagnos is rendered &#8220;clear.&#8221; See PURE. <\/p>\n<p> (2) In <span class='bible'>Rev 21:18<\/span>, katharos, (&#8220;pure,&#8221; RV) is rendered &#8220;clear,&#8221; in the AV.
