The kindred terms,  (shiryah&#8217;, habergeon, Job 41:26),  (shiryan&#8217;, harness, 1Ki 22:34; 2Ch 18:33; breast-plate, Isa 59:17), and  (siryon&#8217;, brigandines, Jer 46:4; Jer 51:3), were probably less complete kinds of the same, i.e. corslets. The same word in the plural form is translated &#8220;habergeons&#8221; in <span class='bible'>2 Chr. 26:14<\/span> and <span class='bible'>Neh. 4:16<\/span>. The &#8220;harness&#8221; (<span class='bible'>1 Kings 22:34<\/span>), &#8220;breastplate&#8221; (<span class='bible'>Isa. 59:17<\/span>), and &#8220;brigandine&#8221; (<span class='bible'>Jer. 46:4<\/span>), were probably also corselets or coats of mail.
