He was converted under the preaching of Reverend C. H.Spurgeon, in whose &#8220;Pastor&#8217;s College&#8221; he pursued his studies. He was settled at Thorpe-le-Soken, Essex, three or four years; was then for over two. years at Castle Dolington; afterwards removed to Daventry, but, after laboring a short time, ruptured a blood-vessel, and died in his native place,: June 4, 1868.
